Facing the hangman’s noose, sharp-shooting outlaw Ernie Parsons (Marjoe Gortner) manages a daring escape. While on the run through the harsh desert, he stumbles upon the body of a traveling minister. To avoid capture, Ernie dons the man’s robes and assumes his identity, riding into the small, troubled town of Castle Walk. He soon discovers the town is under the iron fist of a corrupt local boss. What begins as a clever disguise turns into a true test of character. Ernie must decide whether to keep running or to use his exceptional gun skills—and his unconventional sermons—to stand up for the innocent townsfolk.
