Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) cast then and now: remember Charles Bronson, Claudia Cardinale, Henry Fonda, Jason Robards and the faces of Sergio Leone’s classic Western in this 2026 tribute.
Harmonica’s stare. Jill McBain arriving in a changing frontier. Frank’s chilling presence. Cheyenne’s battered charm. Some movie characters stay with us long after the final scene.
Return to the world of Sweetwater and the railroad through imagined encounters between 14 characters and the performers behind them. From the four leads to the men waiting at the station, this nostalgic journey celebrates the ensemble of Once Upon a Time in the West, also known as C’era una volta il West.
For cast members who have passed away, their later-life portrayals are a remembrance, not a claim that they are alive today. The film remains a meeting place for generations of Western fans.
