Reviews: A truly fantastic film that, for once, is not about World War II. Apparently, this is Mark Gregory’s last role in the Bronx Warrior film series and also features the fantastic John Vernon. Mark Gregory plays a stormtrooper who leaves Afghanistan on a mission to rescue an American soldier. During the trip back to Montana, he is informed that his father is dying and that he must return to Afghanistan to retrieve gold from the Shah of Persia. I don’t know how he ended up in Afghanistan, hahaha. The soundtrack is really nice and I think this is Mark Gregory’s best role, who in this movie is really good, so it’s not too trite. Obviously, it’s still trite, but the supporting cast is excellent, with other famous actors in this type of movie. In this movie, his father dies and he is on a mission to retrieve the gold and return to Afghanistan, where he must fight the Afghans and the Russians. I highly recommend it, it is an over the top but quite interesting Italian war movie, which certainly deserves to be seen on video. The film is pretty solid for its genre and I think it deserves more attention. The first time I saw it I was surprised at how good it was, it’s very good, see it if you can.
